Lake Champlain Watershed Deicing Salt Conference - September 29, 2017

SnowEx is proud to be a co-sponsor for the first Lake Champlain Watershed Deicing Salt Conference on September 29th, 2017; hosted by the Winooski Natural Resource Conservation District and Lake Champlain Sea Grant in Vermont.

This free conference is intended to help spread awareness of the damage that salt has on our environment and provide information on ways to reduce the need for salt. Attendees will be able to learn "green" winter maintenance practices as well as learn about cutting edge equipment that will reduce cost for both the end user, and the environment. All interested individuals are welcome to attend, in particular: private winter maintenance contractors, municipal road maintenance staff, and businesses and non-profit organizations engaged in addressing winter maintenance challenges.

The Winooski Natural Resource Conservation District (WNRCD) is a provider of natural resource management services that help citizens conserve their land and protect the environment for a cleaner, healthier, and more economical future for Vermont. By partnering with federal, state, local agencies and non-profit organizations, WNRCD is able to meet shared conservation and education goals.
